New Features:

* Calendar reminders. Many users have started using the Google Calendar system, and it is running smoothly. You can remind your users that they can connect their own Google calendars to Luigi by clicking on Settings in the upper right.

* Parts to v2. The Parts page has been updated to be more usable on small screens. If you click on an upcoming event in Parts, it will open a tab that jumps to your calendar where the upcoming piece will be played.

* Easier User Suspend in Personnel. There is a simpler interface for suspending users that is accessed directly from the Personnel tab. There are many reasons to suspend users; it can increase security for your organization if you have folks that don’t need to access Luigi for long periods of time, and this functionality makes the process simpler.

* Continued Dark Mode updates. I’ve had so much positive feedback about Dark Mode! It was originally oriented at artists/users but I’ve finished the Dark Mode features for administrative parts of the system, so you can save your eyes while you’re working…

Coming soon in 2024:
* Better Piece reports. Many organizations have large piece libraries. I’m building some “smart” reports that will let you quickly search for pieces using keywords. For example, if you want to find all pieces with oboe and violin, or pieces for just oboe and violin, this will be possible with the new report.

* New Vendor and Contracts systems. This is a long-planned improvement that will improve the way that users and outside vendors interact with your organization. Some users and most vendors don’t want/need a Luigi account, so I’m creating some features to allow secure Contract and Document interaction and signing without logging into the system.
